DAY 1
Afternoon – Independent arrival at the accommodation chosen. Accommodation in Pistoia area* (see list of hotels/farm hotels/self-catering apartments available for this program).

DAY 2
Morning: Guided walking tour of Pistoia, discover the hidden jewel of Tuscany. This amazing city will surprise the visitor with its charm, history and art. The walking tour will pass through the city centre and its amazing narrow paved streets, medieval palaces, churches and squares. You will also stop in the most important food corners: the ancient fruit & veggie market, the oldest pastry shop, hand-made chocolate shop, etc. to terminate in a charming bistrot where you will have the chance to enjoy a glass of wine and a plate of typical cold meats, cheeses and bruschette. 

Afternoon: According to the season of travelling visit a interesting plant nursery in Pistoia.
Pistoia’s relationship with nature has been nurtured by one generation after the next for centuries. The small town’s storied gardening tradition, in fact, has made Pistoia the proud home to the g reatest number of commercial plant nurseries in all of Europe. Garden and flower lovers can visit many of these living treasures and see first-hand the passion with which modern families still till the fertile soil once turned by the grea t grandparents before them.

DAY 3
Morning: Visit the beautiful Villa La Magia garden which hosts in his garden a very interesting contemporary art collection. Contemporary artists represented are Marco Bagnoli, Anne & Patrick Poirier, Nagasawa, Daniel Buren and others. The contemporary art collection in this space makes for a fantastic contrast with the villa itself, built in the  early Renaissance and painted mainly in Baroque style. The amazing garden dating ba ck to 18th century has many treasures. The Renaissance garden gives a clear idea of the greenery around the villa in the XVI century, dividing the real garden from the farm land. The two lemon and orange gardens protected by strong winds and cold weather, located on terraces and with a central fountain. The Romantic garden, with its small shady lanes bordered by flowers, cypresses and laurel.

Afternoon:Time at leisure to walk the great park or just relax and enjoy the nature’s scents and aromas.
