Villa Le Panche

Villa Le Panche

The villa was built in 1718, next to an inn that had existed since the Middle Ages, by order of Colombino Bassi, Bishop of Pistoia and Prato. It is precisely the particular history of this house, together with the charm of the Reno river that flows a short distance away, that makes "Villa Le Panche" an enchanting destination. In fact, the large fenced garden, partly shaded by some large maples and apple trees, slopes gently towards the river, on whose banks our luckiest guests will be able to see various species of wild animals typical of the area.
The "Bishop's house" has been completely renovated maintaining the characteristic elements of the austere original building, characterized on the outside by the framed windows in pietra serena. On the ground floor there is the large living room, the dining room (up to 16 seats at the table) and the kitchen, equipped with all modern equipment. Each of these rooms overlooks the large central fireplace.
From the entrance, through an ancient stone staircase, you reach the first floor, where there are 3 bedrooms with bathroom and a small living room/study (which can be easily equipped as an additional bedroom without bathroom if necessary). A further flight of stairs leads to the attic floor, where there are two more bedrooms with bathroom and a large relaxation area equipped with a billiard table. From the ground floor you can access the fitness room, equipped with a sauna for 4 people and a maxi-hydromassage for 7. At the service of our guests, in this area there is an additional bathroom, an additional shower, also for use by the swimming pool, and a useful laundry room, with washing machine, iron and ironing board.
