Ristorante Toscana Fair

The TOSCANA FAIR Agritourism Restaurant was born from Paolo Mati's passion for the area and its flavors. With the support of his brothers Andrea and Francesco, an old agricultural shed has been transformed into a modern and comfortable environment. The Agritourism Restaurant is located inside the nursery of the historic headquarters of "Piante Mati dal 1909", is located near the motorway exit and at the gates of the city, has parking for buses and cars and is surrounded by a splendid garden and hundreds of ornamental and flowering plants. TOSCANA FAIR offers emotions through the return to the flavors of the past: a simple menu is offered that often varies according to seasonal products. The carefully selected raw materials come from the company's own production or from local farms. The aim is to bring back to our table traditional Tuscan flavours and recipes such as “la ribollita”, a typical simple and captivating dish or “il Peposo”, an ancient Renaissance recipe that a Florentine legend associates with Filippo Brunelleschi who apparently used it to nourish and keep fit the artisans who worked on the construction of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Cathedral of Florence. In addition to traditional dishes, there are also original recipes based on vegetables grown in the organic garden of the Agriturismo.
The restaurant has a small internal room that can be booked for parties and ceremonies and a large outdoor space surrounded by greenery that in the summer season every Thursday evening starting from May 31st is set up for the Aperitif in the garden event which offers a plentiful buffet.
You can have lunch and dinner at the Agriturismo Restaurant from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 to 00:00 and on Monday from 9:00 to 16:00.
