10:30 Meeting with the guide in the city center. Guided tour of the historic center of Pistoia, to discover this fascinating medieval city, Italian Capital of Culture 2017. The route includes: Piazza del Duomo with its medieval monuments: Baptistery, Cathedral of San Zeno, where the reliquary of S. Jacopo is kept, the Palazzo del Comune and the Palazzo del Potestà, San Giovanni Fuorcivitas and the Church of Sant’Andrea with the pulpit by Giovanni Pisano. We move towards P.zza Giovanni XXIII, where you can admire the old Spedale del Ceppo with its frieze, a masterpiece of Renaissance glazed terracotta.

We conclude the visit in Piazza della Sala with its picturesque fruit and vegetable market
