The Corsini Company... was founded in Pistoia in 1918, as the beautiful photos of the business show. It was started by Cavalier Umberto Corsini who, already in 1918, pursuing the principle of "quality at all costs", produced confetti, sweets and chocolate. Since then, the Corsini company, faithful to its tradition, faces the new millennium continuing in the same direction with the elegance that has always distinguished it. In the heart of Pistoia, near the medieval Piazza al Prato, now Piazza San Francesco, the Corsini confectionery - chocolate shop has been producing its confetti and chocolate for almost a century. With artisanal care, the Corsini family has passed down traditions and recipes and even today the Confetti di Pistoia Corsini - the Originals - are produced with the same ingredients - exclusively a syrup of water and sugar - which can cover the various "souls", almonds, hazelnuts, cocoa berries, chocolate, orange and confetti, the medieval "Anici confecti". whiteness of the curly Confetti, are accompanied by the Chocolate Delights: dark bars in various formats with a light vanilla aroma and Abetone milk, both flavors according to an exclusive recipe, today also in the versions with a higher percentage of cocoa and "light" with maltitol instead of sugar. Chocolates and specialties in pralines, from the classic coffee and liqueur bonbons, to the "Desert Roses" combined with cereals, passing through the various blends of flavored and spiced chocolate, chili pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, oriental spices etc, up to the most recent creations in the Truffles line and the Modena Balsamic Vinegar Pralines.
Finally, the flagship product of the Corsini Company, the Panforte Glacè chocolate cake. Created by Bruno Corsini in the mid-1930s, in the need to "invent" a chocolate based on national products, the panforte glacé now as then offers a taste of ancient flavors in a revisited and modern alchemy that is just waiting to be tasted.
